A historic family estate in Chablis

Founded in the 1840s by Gustave Hamelin, Domaine Hamelin is a historic wine estate located in the heart of Chablis. For more than six generations, the family has preserved and developed a winemaking tradition rooted in both heritage and respect for terroir.

Today, Thierry Hamelin and his son Charles continue this family legacy, combining ancestral know-how with modern winemaking techniques to express the full identity of their vineyards.

Wines that express the Chablis terroir

The estate is fully dedicated to producing Chablis wines that faithfully reflect their origin. Each cuvée highlights the region’s signature minerality, freshness, and precision, shaped by its unique limestone soils.

Thanks to very old vines, the domaine produces wines of remarkable depth, balance, and elegance, considered true references within the appellation.

Vineyard work is meticulous, harvests are carefully managed, and winemaking is carried out with precision to best reveal each parcel’s character.

Recognised excellence

Over the years, Domaine Hamelin has received numerous awards, confirming its reputation as a benchmark producer in Chablis.
